I define myself as a masochist and submissive under
the domination of fantasy, imagination and the stuff
that dreams are made of. As New York City's premier
submissive, I have brought a seemingly unending
threshold of pain to New York stages as well as
its dungeons - presently at Pandora's Box, an upscale
house of dominance/submission, fantasy and roleplay.
I also live out the dark side of my sexuality on
film - exploring the thin line between fantasy and
reality, art and erotica. My recent films The Elegant
Spanking and The Black Glove explore the boundaries
of dominance and submission in its artful escalation
of pleasure and pain, bondage and menace, fetishism
and footworship in a totally new and classic approach
to lesbian S/M erotica. The masquerade of dominance
and submission is performed in the spirit of decadence,
sexual freedom and spiritual abandonment.
The image of female submissives is commonly thought
to be a patriarchal construct which disciplines
and deprives them of a voice of resistance. They
are often judged as being weak, unassertive and
self-destructive.
I believe submissive fantasies, sexual freedom and
the right to set one's own limitations are crucial
to a dialectic process of identity building in SM
which applies both to men and women.
Submissive fantasies about the human body being
rendered helpless and restrained, dominated, humiliated
and punished make me feel sexy and strong. They
liberate me from inferiority complexes in life,
from oppressive types of behavior which translate
into straight plotless intercourse and sexuality.
I adore and worship strong women. I'd get down on
my knees anytime for a woman who knows what she
wants and how she wants it. My partners are usually
women but gender is not where I draw the line or
set my boundary. Through mutual respect, trust,
honesty and safety comes surrender, risk-taking,
growth and the desire to explore the unknown. Then
comes the illusion and the thrill of being taken
and owned.
My latest film in progress is, Le Petit Marquis
(made in collaboration with Mistress Leslie Savage),
examines the possibility that the Marquis de Sade
was, in fact, born female. However, due to his mother's
embarassment at giving birth to a female child,
she forces him to dress and act the role of a young
boy, punishing him/her severly for any remotely
feminine behavior.
